As part of the Air France expansion in South America in the last days a Boieing 787 landed in the Mariscal Sucre Airport of Quito from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The aircraft has a capacity of 276 seats, including 30 business, 21 premium economy and 225 economy class. This was the first commercial flight with this kind of airplanes that will cover 3 direct flights in the route Quito-Paris-Quito, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

With this new connection between Quito and Paris, Air France expect to increase the number of travelers to Ecuador, as the business opportunities also increase for the Galapagos Cruises. The private companies and the Ecuador government are join forces to do so by presenting this good news to operators and travel agencies in the most important tourism fairs around the world like WTM LONDON currently happening during this week.
